Gives different reading a lot
By Alex Schamenek
The scale looks amazing. I got the orange one, which actually looks pretty sweet. I'm not raelly a fan of the color orange but it works. The scale has 10 profiles for 10 people, which is awesome. Not that I need that many but you might need it. Make sure you press the units button on the bottom to set it to pounds instead of kilos.I LOVE that it gives you your muscle percentage. I'm working out every day and I love having the ability to see if my gains and losses are muscle, fat, or water. But I wish it would do the math and tell me how many pounds of muscle I have. But that's a small complaint. As long as I can track the muscle percentage on a graph, which I can with the app. It syncs with my android note 3 very well. The app is decent, although it crashed a couple of times. There are actually 2 apps, the one that this Amazon description says to download, Pyle, and another one called Samico Health, that I was told to download in the instructions that came with the scale. They seem almost identical.2 beefs.1) Getting to measure your BMI, fat%, muscle%, etc. Is a bit of a chore: press the teeeeny set button with your finger, choose the profile, twiddle your thumbs until it cycles through your age, sex, and height.2) I'm concerned that the first time it came with a weight of over 190 lbs. I've never weighed that much in my life. A couple of minutes later it gave me a weight of 186.4, then 185.6, and 184.6. That gives me some concern if I want to track my weight every day. I need accurate numbers to know if my diet is right.I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt for now and generously giving it 4 stars, hoping it gets better. I'm very optimistic about this scale. I can't wait to see how my weight, body fat, and muscle percentage change over time.

A nice scale that has Bluetooth to send your weight, BMI, water, fat and bone mass data to your smartphone or tablet!

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1H9E7NCX2BOT This is an amazing digital scale that takes measuring your weight to a new level. (Please also read my warning for people with pacemakers at the end of this review) We have all weighed ourselves and many of us have used the newer scales that measure BMI, body fat, water percentage and bone mass. Now you can have a new scale that with send the data to your smart phone and create a data log for you in the phone app. You can see the log, look at the graphed data and look at your calendar for measured details. The scale uses Bluetooth technology to transfer the data to your phone as soon as your weight and other parameters have been measured. In my video I show the scale in action and how to set it up. I also show the app and basically how it works. This is a beautiful scale and it uses precision strain gages to measure your weight from 4.4 pounds to 330.7 pounds. It is accurate to 0.22 pounds. The scale operates on 4 AAA batteries. The scale features a nice backlit display in a dark blue color. The scale can weigh you in Kilograms, pounds or stone. The scale can also be set up to monitor and track the information of 10 different people. Set up is fast and easy and I basically show most of it in my video. It shared the data with our iPhones and iPads without any issues. You can set up new people in the scale by entering their profile number, sex, age and height. You can also set up multiple users on our smart phone. The scale has an auto off to save the battery power and also an auto zero function.I show the basic functions of the app in the video and it is named Samico Health. I got our version from the iTunes App store for free. Make sure that you go to the setting function to set the app on your smart device to the right units of measure like pounds and feet and inches. The app makes this scale more helpful for those on a weight loss program or health monitoring program.Just be aware that if you have a pacemaker you should not use this scale. You should as a minimum ask your doctor if it is ok before you use it. This scale passes a small electrical current through your body to make the additional body measurements. This current may affect your pacemaker's operation or cause heart flutters or possibly even make programing changes. In addition if you have a metal implant in your body the measurements will be incorrect. This is a nice product and it is designed well. I rated it as a 5 star item.I was supplied a sample of the product for test and evaluation and I promised to provide a fair and honest review.B00GUJQB5I

I don't know how well it works. I bought it (woot) to use with my Motorola Maxx HD. The website, and the box/packaging, say it works with android smart phones. When I could not download the app I went to the Pyle website. It works with one nexus and one samsung phone, out of the hundreds of android phones out there. Maybe they should let us know that before we buy it. Then I tried to register it for warranty and could not, the Pyle website registration does not recognize this model number. I don't return many things, but this is going back, mostly because I'm mad about their false advertising.
